Pastor Larry Watson Jr. is a visionary leader committed to cultivating a church with a holistic approach to ministry. His passion is to see families thrive spiritually, economically, and socially, creating stronger communities through faith and action. As an advocate for justice and equality, he uses his platform to uplift the marginalized and speak truth to power. Pastor Watson believes that light cannot be ignored—that it stands out, transforms, and leads. This belief fuels his efforts in launching The Light Center, a ministry hub designed to serve and empower people at every level. With unwavering faith and bold leadership, Pastor Watson is positioning The Light Center to make a lasting impact on the Gulf Coast.  

As a pastoral leader, I am deeply committed to building people up and restoring purpose within the body of Christ. My heart beats for the transformation of individuals, and I am passionate about helping others discover and live out their God-given purpose.
My approach to ministry is firmly grounded in the truth of God’s Word, shaped by years of experience, and fueled by a deep love for God and His people. I believe it is my calling to tear down the walls that have kept many bound, ushering them into the freedom and wholeness that comes through the power of Christ.

As a church financial advisor, my mission is to support the spiritual and operational vitality of the church by ensuring sound financial stewardship rooted in transparency, accountability, and faith-driven responsibility. I work closely with church leadership, including the pastor, finance committee, and board members, to develop and manage financial strategies that not only sustain day-to-day operations but also align with the long-term vision and mission of our ministry. 

As the Executive Assistant to the Pastors, I serve as a vital support to both the spiritual and administrative functions of the church. My role is to ensure that the Pastor’s vision and leadership are carried out efficiently by managing schedules, coordinating communications, organizing ministry activities, and maintaining strong relationships within the congregation and leadership teams. With a commitment to confidentiality, organization, and Christ-centered excellence, I aim to reflect the integrity and care that our ministry extends to every member and visitor. 

The Light Center Youth Department is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment where children can grow in their faith while having fun. Our mission is to nurture young hearts and minds through engaging, age-appropriate Christian teachings and joyful fellowship.

As the Outreach Coordinator for our church, my heart and mission are centered on building meaningful bridges between our congregation and the surrounding community. I believe that the church is not only a place of worship but also a beacon of hope, healing, and unity. My role involves creating and coordinating outreach initiatives that reflect Christ’s love in practical, impactful ways—whether through service projects, community events, partnerships with local organizations, or support programs for those in need.
